Achilles' Decisions

As Far as I know, Achilles is the best warrior in Iliad, his upper body is immortal and his lower is his weakness. He love his his friends, crew and country men, especially his birthplace, Phthia in Greece. He is a loyal friend of Agamemnon. He takes offense easily and reacts with blistering indignation when he perceives that his honor has been slighted. He is fearless warrior that will do anything to win his battle.

In book 9 of Iliad, Hector wants to have a one on one fight from Acheans and Trojan to prevent a blood rain in war, Agamemnon agree with Hector and he want Achilles to fight but Achilles is not with the Acheans, Achilles is in his tent playing his Lyre with his friend Patroclus. So Agamemnon sent his best warrior to communicate to Achilles, about the proposal of Agamemnon, that he will have a tripods untouched by fire, igrots of gold, couldrons, horses, grand creature form the price in races, a woman, and especially Breseis  just to fight on a one on one battle with Hector. But Achilles decline Agamemnon's offer because he wanted to return to his country, Phthia.

Achilles is not a king. but there is a chance that he can be a king of his place, because he is brave warrior that never give up his responsibility as a warrior of his crew even he died fighting with in war. Achilles is fearless warrior that he won't show his weaknesses in his enemies, even a a death of his love one. And he is loyal in his country and never show his back at the times of war. But he is warrior that want a little quiet and peaceful place. And sometimes he show his being a short tempered man. But some of his traits has good characteristic of a brave king, and never put someone in trouble.
